SENIOR FUN AT THE LIBRARY

The senior group meets at the Library every Thursday (September-May) from 1:00-3:00 PM in the Dykhouse Room.

The senior group offers exercise for those who wish to participate, free entertainment, games and cards, door prizes, with "coffee and conversation", and great snacks. If you've never attended before, try it. We have a great time!!

Fall 2010 Events

September 2nd - James David, author of "From Hu to Saltalamacchia", will speak about his ongoing obsession with the names and lore of major league baseball.

September 9th - Thomas, of Kaiser Technologies, will speak and show examples of the newest computer technologies that can help people save money and stay connected with their families.

September 16th - Movie: "Top Hat". This 1935 classic stars Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Popcorn will be served.

September 23rd - Johnny Burke, radio DJ on FM WHNN-96, will speak about his life as a radio DJ and his many charitable organizations.

September 30th - Members of the Vassar Area Arts Council will speak about their upcoming activities and classes. They will also do an easy craft.
