The Library of Congress Catalogs 


The Library of Congress Catalogs include bibliographic records for books, serials, music and sound recordings, cartographic materials, visual materials, computer files, manuscripts, thesauri of names and subjects, in-process books, NUC 1982-1993, PreMARC, catalog records from some other research libraries, and records for some bibliographies. You can also search non-catalog files including records for federal legislation, copyright information, braille and audio, and foreign law. The eLibrary Elementary is designed specifically for the needs of younger researchers.   eLibrary Elementary with more than 40 magazines and journals, 40 books, and 40,000 pictures, photos, and maps, makes it easier for young researchers to begin acquiring information literacy skills.  The entire collection is appropriate to elementary studies and every article is available in 100 percent full text.  Young researchers can sort their results by relevance, date, file size, reading level, publication, or source.
